iIn 2018 Bob and Jill Clements sold the house which Freda designed for them many years ago in Alton Road, Mt.Macedon and swapped the icy chill of the inland slopes for the sea breezes at Cowes, a picturesque beachside town on Phillip Island. They needed a practical single-level house which would serve them well in retirement, with an emphasis on being able to slide back doors to live in close proximity to the garden. The house faces a quiet side street, so that when they are enjoying the north sun on their raised deck, they can chat with passers-by who are always intrigued by the native flora balustrade and triangular fixing plates and trusses.
